Power BI – Deactivate date hierarchy

The automatic date hierarchy in Power BI can sometimes interfere with the chronological display of data. You can deactivate the hierarchy as follows:

  1. Drags the date field into the axis of the visualization
  2. Right-click on the entry to open the submenu
  3. Selects date instead of date hierarchy
  • Deactivate date hierarchy in Power BI
