An opt-out can be understood as a declaration of objection and, as a technical function, prohibits further data processing.

This is how an opt-out with Borlabs cookie works

Borlabs cookie clears when opting out no already set Cookies , but removes the entire JavaScript and thus prevents tracking systems such as Google Analytics from being integrated.

An opt-out for Google Analytics puts hence also no extra Do-Not-Track Cookie . Instead, the service is no longer integrated.

JavaScript will be activated after opting out only removed with the next page view , because the user has already been tracked for the current page view. You can use the “Reload after consent” option to ensure that the visitor’s browser reloads automatically so that the opt-out is directly active.
