In order to work with Outlook Microsoft Outlook is software with which emails can be sent and received and appointments, notes, contacts and tasks can be managed. Official Microsoft Outlook website on the Mac without Mail “interfering”, the default program for email must be changed as follows:
- Open “Mail”.
- Open the settings via the “Mail” menu and click on “General”. Alternatively, when you are prompted to set up an e-mail account, you can add your account and then open the settings via the “Mail” menu*.
- Select your e-mail app via the “Default program for e-mails” pop-up menu.
