Convert user mailbox to a shared mailbox

If you want to convert a user mailbox into a shared mailbox, you can proceed as follows.
Switch to the Classic Exchange Admin Center.

1. Select “Recipient mailboxes”> on the left.
2. Select the corresponding user mailbox.
3. Click on the 3 dots at the top of the bar
4. Choose “Convert to shared mailbox”

If the mailbox is smaller than 50 GB, you can use the License from user and end the payment. Do not delete the user’s account.
